Imaginary Differences

You go to bed everynight in your “Select Comfort” bed praying to God to get a better pay knowing that in the morning, you won’t have the chance of losing your life.


They don’t sleep that night they just pray every second they get that they will live to see the next 5 minutes.









You and your friends laugh about the US Military Replica Dog Tags.


He sits there and looks at all of his friends dog tags that have lost their lifes in the war.









You march up to your room because you didn’t get that “Hollister” shirt you needed for the party Friday night.


They march to serve our country and to give you the right to stomp around and be mad at the world.









You complain because you have to get up at 8am and go to work.


He doesn’t sleep and goes to work for training so you have the freedom to complain.









You sit in class preparing on how your going to set up a drug deal.


They sit in the desert preparing on how they are going to keep this country free so you can do what you want.









You complain because your 104 year old grandma died peacefully in her sleep.


He watches his best friend and partner die in his hands.









You complain while your trying to get ahold of your best friend to go to the mall and find some hotties to hook up with.


He calls home because he hasn’t talked to them in days.









You try to commit suicide off of the side of a building because your depressed.


He is shot infront of his friends and almost falls.









You complain because your bed has a lump in it.


They sleep in the dirt to protect our country.









You complain because your out of bullets to go hunting.


He loads his gun to fight for your rights to complain.

And if you don’t agree with the wars that America is fighting in, that’s really retarded because the Military men and women are dying for YOUR freedom, and YOUR rights to feel this way. God Bless Anyone who is in the US Military or Anyone who Was in it. Because when I am out of high school I’m going to join the Military.

These Men and Women are missing out on regular meals, they are not sleeping at night so they can keep terrorists out of the country, they are missing holidays with their friends and familys, and some aren’t coming home.

Pray for them.

When I see men or women that are dressed in Uniform I shake their hand and tell them thank you.

When I go to airport’s I keep MANY phone cards with me and when I see men or women dressed in uniform I shake their hand, tell them thank you, give them a phone card and by them lunch/food if they are standing in line for it. Even if they are coming home.
